Our Romantic Dinner

My awesome boyfriend decided one Friday evening to greet me with a lovely romantic dinner for two. (It must've been all my nagging about me wanting having a steaming-piping-dinner-ready-on-the-table-when-i-come-home-from-work that finally paid off....

Antipasto (L-R clockwise): saltines, brie, sharp mozzarella cheese balls, lox on cucumbers, sun dried tomatoes 

 Entre: Porterhouse as the centerpiece with broccoli on the side and lemon as garnish. Also served with a side of mac n cheese (R) and A1 dipping sauce (L). 

Dessert: a piece of melondew, a piece sugar cookies, a piece of a sprinkles cupcakes, and homemade confection of cream cheese and strawberry jam and a bit of whipped cream. This was surprisingly pretty tasty. 

Homemade Bulgogi

Boyfriend made this with sliced brisket, chopped red onions and lots of seasonings

For our complete dinner, we had the bulgogi, chicken wings, chips n salsa, hawaiian bread and pickles. We're eating pretty random tonight.... 

Hot Pot Day 2

For Day 2, we've got a LOT of sliced brisket, more rice vermicelli, proper veggies with cabbage, more imitation crab meat, a bit of celery and more delicious fishballs. The skillet on the right is so we could "grill" some of the brisket.

For Day 1, we've got baby carrots, lettuce, rice vermicelli, sliced brisket, imitation crab meat and fishball.

Tuna Grilled Cheese Sandwich

If you like grilled cheese and you like tuna sandwiches, you could always combine them and make a classic tuna melt. Om nom nom nom. Add a bit of relish and it's that much more delish!

Banana Split Ice Cream Sundae

Banana Split Ice Cream Sundae in a goblet complete with red sprinkles on top! :o) All smiles for my tummy tonight!

Fettucini

Fettucini, Meatballs, Prego sauce, and Broccoli. The End.

This is my first time trying artichoke hummus. It tasted weird at first but after a couple of these, it started tasting pretty good. I think artichoke is an acquired taste. I've tried regular hummus before and it was tasty on the first bite. If you add a bit of vienna sausages to these, it's even better!
