Homemade hot dogs

 This is a picture of hamburgers. But it's exactly the same meat used to make our hot dogs. It's basically 80% lean ground beef, salt, garlic powder, taco seasoning and 1 egg all mushed together. For hot dogs, roll'em up. 

 The hot dogs and hamburgers were cooked in an iron skillet. Once cooked, they rested on the above rack to cool off a bit until their buns were toasted and ready for snuggling.

This is the end result. Yumyum in my tumtum!

Skewered Chicken and Drumsticks

 

the best way to cook chicken is to brine it overnight then marinate it then grill it. it's quite scrump-dili-ious!

Mashed Potatoes Monstrosity

 

For the first layer, there's mashed potatoes with tomato paste and paprika (that's what gives its orange color) and salt and sour cream and garlic powder and pepper (it's got a kick to it). Then we layered pepperoni slices on top. Then you got the ground beef with peas seasoned with taco seasoning. And lastly a top layer of regular mashed potatoes, broiled to perfection. :o) There you have it, a mashed potato monstrosity!

I think it's safe to say that any dish posted that includes large chunks of meat or any kind of grilling is done by my boyfriend.

Pepperoni Cream Cheese Crackers

We bought a bag of pepperoni with the intention of making homemade pizza.

We never got around to doing that...

Instead, we found that eating pepperoni by itself is quite a delicious snack!

 Add ritz crackers and cream cheese....

Voila! A tasty appetizer we can't get enough of!

Bulgogi

Too tired to make anything awesome so we bought pre-marinated bulgogi and added some chopped onions and steamed broccoli for a delicious dinner
