Thanksgiving Dinner

We were in SJ for Thanksgiving this year and there was SO MUCH fooooooood!!! I swear, there was cooking for a hundred plus people and it seemed like there were only twenty to thirty people total... Needless to say, there was so much food to be thankful for! :D Here are lots of pictures that didn't include desserts...
Curry rice samosas with coconut sauce
Spaghetti noodles a la squash
Roasted Veggies
Cold ham slices with maraschino cherries and canned pineapples
One of the TWO turkeys that were there, both were greater than 10 lbs -_-
Corn Salsa
Cheesy mac
Mashed potatoes topped with a layer of melted cheddar cheese

Brussel sprouts, bell peppers, carrots and string beans
More mashed potatoes w/ gravy
Roast beef done perfectly!
Garlic Mushroom Bread
Still not quite everything... But I sure was thankful for all the foodies that were there for me to eat and not lift a finger.... Thank you Charles' cousins!! :D

Tomato n Beef Casserole w/ Mash Potatoes

This is pretty good but I prefer the Tamale Pie with the cornmeal crust on top instead of the bottom. If you are interested in the recipe, go here.

Salmon with Walnut Relish

This is pretty much the same as the post called Roasted Salmon with Walnut-Pepper Relish. Go there for the full recipe. This was totally delish!

Mashed potatoes were peeled then boiled. Once it's soft, mash the potatoes, add milk, a bit of salt and pepper and some sour cream. Taste til yummy! Then add it to your tummy.

Mashed Potatoes Monstrosity

For the first layer, there's mashed potatoes with tomato paste and paprika (that's what gives its orange color) and salt and sour cream and garlic powder and pepper (it's got a kick to it). Then we layered pepperoni slices on top. Then you got the ground beef with peas seasoned with taco seasoning. And lastly a top layer of regular mashed potatoes, broiled to perfection. :o) There you have it, a mashed potato monstrosity!
