Mashed potatoes were peeled then boiled. Once it's soft, mash the potatoes, add milk, a bit of salt and pepper and some sour cream. Taste til yummy! Then add it to your tummy.

Quickie dinner

For tonight's dinner, we had leftover sandwiches and chips from last night's adventure of checking out a free play at Griffith's Park. The pepperoni ham sandwiches were from Winco and the chips are bbq. Om nom nom nom nom.

Oatmeal Cookies

Note: if you plan on subbing the vegetable shortening with something else, do NOT sub with fake/partial salted butter... doesn't taste as great as it would with real butter.

This one is a bit bland. I'd add raisins if I were you. Also, tastes better when it's right out of the oven.

This one tasted much better compared to the ones above. However, it's more of a crispier cookie. I prefer the chewy, doughy, bread-like cookies so this isn't my fav either.... Also, I used chocolate chips instead of raisins...
