After baking potato wedges, we decided to try making yam chips. We sliced a yam as thin as possible and let air dry for a couple hours in the fridge. Our thought was that if it dries out, the chips will come out crispier. Well, I can't be sure that worked but some were crunchy and others were still slightly soft. Either way it was delicious. The yam slices were coated with extra virgin olive oil and seasoned lightly with salt and pepper for taste. Bake until browned or almost burnt since it was kind of hard to tell whether it was browning or not....
